A psycho-cop was stopped by normal police officers numerous times, once while carrying a gun near his estranged wife’s home, in the months before he fired four to six shots into her house.
Officer John Goodner is charged with stalking his ex-wife, attempting to murder her, and other charges related to firing a gun into a home.
Naturally his attorney denied the charges and sharply criticized police investigators.
Deputy District Attorney Chris Sansoe told jurors morning Goodner is a controlling and belligerent husband who threatened to kill his estranged wife after she sought a restraining order against him, and shot into her home after she began ignoring his text messages.
“This case is about someone who thought they were above the law,” Sansoe said.
That pretty much describes the Police State.
