We’re supposed to believe this?
Woodland police say a man died in handcuffs after struggling with officers and being hit with a stun gun Wednesday.
If he was already in handcuffs, why did they kill him?
His behavior leading up to his death indicated he was mentally ill.
“Officers used a Taser to gain control of the subject. The subject was handcuffed and soon after officers discovered the subject was not breathing and began CPR, as well as calling for emergency medical assistance.”
He was pronounced dead at Woodland Memorial Hospital.
Naturally, official probes cleared police of wrongdoing. The city of Woodland eventually settled his family’s lawsuit for $300,000.
Wednesday’s incident will be investigated by the Yolo County Sheriff’s Department, and the sheriff’s findings will be submitted to the Yolo County District Attorney’s office, police said. This of course will change nothing.
This invesigation is a big joke. Enjoy your Police State.
