Everyone knows that Americans love drugs.
That’s why city leaders in San Francisco continue to implement policies that flood the streets with narcotics, and hopelessly addicted people.
Now San Francisco is getting set to open a facility that allows people to inject drugs. Call it a drug theme park.
Board of Supervisors President London Breed has authored legislation that would create a task force to research what are called safe injection sites. Breed wants to allow people to inject drugs in an environment that also offers health and social services.
The Department of Public Health estimates there are 22,000 people who inject drugs in San Francisco.
Expect that number to rise thanks to Supervisor Breed and ever so thoughtful city leaders.
