BART’s police department plans to announce former Santa Ana police chief Carlos Rojas as its next top cop.
A source close to the Santa Ana Police Department said Rojas is expected to be named police chief of BART.
Rojas, who has been chief just shy of three years, has drawn criticism from city officials and the Santa Ana Police Officers Association due to a spike in gang activity and a drop in officer morale.
So he’ll fit in perfectly with the BART culture of brutality.
