It’s time for Diane Feinstein to hit the road. She looks, sounds, and acts like Alan “the corpse” Cranston did in the early 1990’s. Californians are worse off for it.
Feinstein, 83, has served in the U.S. Senate since 1992 and is the oldest senator. She has not said whether she will run for re-election next year, but she has already held fundraisers.
For many in California’s political elite, Feinstein is an institution. For the rest of us, she’s irrelevant.
Feinstein and her wealthy husband have made millions from her office. It’s time for her to go. She’s rich enough, and there are plenty of young Liberals in California waiting to take her place.
