Legislators want gig economy to suffer the same job killer laws as everyone else

In downtown Los Angeles, drivers for Lyft and Uber are everywhere. The gig economy can be lucrative, but according to Leftists, it also can leave people in poverty.

Yes, you read that correctly, Leftists think having a job and making money makes you poor.

They maintain that for all of the hype about flexible schedules and not having to answer to an ornery boss, being self-employed in California’s gig economy isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be.

In their Orwellian mind-set, many are stuck in poverty because there is no minimum wage, no paid time off and no unemployment benefits.
