California entrepreneurs can now file to create or update information online about limited liability companies — a cumbersome process that was before just done through mail.
Secretary of State Alex Padilla announced the digital tool Wednesday at a press conference in San Francisco. This new option will streamline the process of creating a business in California, where 375,000 statements of information for new or existing limited liability companies were filed last year.
In his fantasy world, Padilla thinks things like this will stop people from leaving California for places like Texas and Nevada where taxes are lower and stupid regulations are non-existent.
