BART’s police chief said Thursday that his department will look at ways to make information about crime in the system more readily available to the public and media.
First of course, he’ll actually have to figure out what’s going on himself. Obviously he’s clueless.
The transit system’s police and administrators have been criticized over the past week for replacing daily police logs with an online crime map that offers no detailed information about crimes on BART, and for their continued refusal to release video footage of an April 22 attack on a train by as many as 60 young people who harassed and robbed passengers.
