BART remains a transit system out of control. If you ride it, you’re clearly risking your life.
Two people were pepper-sprayed on a BART train in the latest incident involving a group of teenagers, police said.
The confrontation occurred around 8:48 p.m. on a Daly City-bound train, when a teenage girl emerged from a group of about 10 teenagers and tried to rob the female.
The attempted robbery happened while the train was at the Embarcadero Station.
The issue of teens robbing patrons on BART has been in the spotlight since April when at least 40 youths swarmed a train at the Coliseum station and without weapons robbed six people inside the train and another on the platform.
Another attack happened at the Coliseum station on June 30, a group of 10-13 teens attacked.
