Many Islamics in the U.S. feel the need to engage with their fellow Americans to dispel “negative perceptions” of their faith. Mainly because Americans are getting sick and tired of violence perpetrated by their religion.
However instead of facing that reality, Islamics blame the so called far-right views in President Donald Trump’s efforts to ban entry into the U.S. from six Muslim-majority countries and in his claims of dangers posed by immigrants and Muslim refugees. The President has said his policies are critical for protecting national security.
The bottom line is that Islamics in America don’t hold their own violent people responsible in any way. Instead they spin their religion of peace talking points while their henchmen continue to kill.
