#SanDiego asks judge to let #killercop walk

Lawyers for the city of San Diego urged a federal judge on Wednesday to rule in favor of an officer who fatally shot an unarmed man in a Midway District alley two years ago, arguing the civil rights lawsuit filed by the deceased man’s family should be tossed.

Dan Miller, an attorney for Nehad’s family, countered that the officer had created a tactically dangerous situation from the get-go and said Nehad’s actions posed no reasonable threat at the time of the shooting.
