The three women and one girl who testified in a 25-count felony case against Louis Ray Coleman all come from different backgrounds. None of them know each other.
But they do share one thing in common: a very similar story about the horrors they allegedly suffered at Coleman’s hands. While details differ, the stories have a common theme: He used force, fear or deception to get them alone, then repeatedly sexually assaulted them while forcing them to ingest alcohol or drugs.
Coleman is charged with kidnapping, raping and trafficking two of the alleged victims during a multi-day period in June 2016. The other two women have been called to testify as corroborating witnesses.
But according to the defense, Coleman is just a charmer with an unlucky habit of mistaking 12-year-old girls for adults.
