It’s serious when the Los Angeles Times fingers one of their own. That’s just what happened however.
The Times reports that Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped fund political research into President Trump that ultimately produced a fake news dossier of allegations about his ties to Russia.
The dossier, which has been derided as “phony stuff,” is a politically motivated collection of salacious claims. It forms the basis of what has become a phony investigation into the President’s campaign by special counsel Robert Mueller — a longtime Clinton ally.
The scheme was brokered by Marc Elias, a lawyer for the Clinton campaign and the DNC, and his law firm of Perkins Coie.
These new revelations hold true the old adage “people who live in glass houses shouldn’t produce fake news.”
