#HBO breaks from the pack, ignores sex-crime allegations

Screenshot 2017-11-21 at 06.54.50HBO stands by Russell Simmons’ new season of ‘All Def Comedy,’ series will air as scheduled.

“We do plan to air [‘All Def Comedy’] beginning next week,” HBO said in a statement. “The show is a platform for promising new artists, and we want them to have the opportunity to showcase their talent to a national audience.”

Simmons, who co-founded Def Jam Records, was recently accused of sexual misconduct stemming from an alleged incident involving Brett Ratner in 1991 that was recounted by a then-17-year-old fashion model, Keri Claussen Khalighi.

  1. HBO has the right to run a show featuring a PERV.. Just like the NFL.. I also have the right to refuse to watch such crap who has a sex prev on it..
