What’s supposed to be America’s premier law enforcement agency looks more like a criminal enterprise.
A top F.B.I. agent has been removed from his investigation into Russian election meddling after the Justice Department’s inspector general began examining whether the agent sent text messages that expressed anti-Trump political views, according to three people briefed on the matter.
The agent, Peter Strzok, is considered one of the most experienced and trusted F.B.I. counterintelligence investigators. If so, that tells you a lot about where the minds of the rest of Strzok’s colleagues are.
The blatantly corrupt Strzok hasn’t been fired. He was simply reassigned. So another corrupt cop still walks our streets with a gun and a badge.
A lawyer for Mr. Strzok and a spokesman for the F.B.I. declined to comment.
