Feckless Al Franken, who has been accused by eight women of sexual misconduct finally resigned from the United States Senate.
Still unable to admit to his multiple sex crimes, he said that he was leaving not because the allegations against him were true, but because “it’s become clear that I can’t both pursue the ethics committee process and at the same time remain an effective senator.”
Franken’s statement was defensive and often angry. Apparently the only thing he’s sorry about is losing his cushy job.
He clearly doesn’t understand why everyone hates him.
