Judge James P. Arguelles won’t stop the hearings that will decide the fate of Gov. Jerry Brown’s Delta tunnels project according to the Sacramento Bee. Opponents sued alleging the process had been tainted by secret meetings.
The argument was a lame attempt at best to stop the project. Opponents didn’t provide nearly enough evidence to show that water-rights hearings before the State Water Resources Control Board should be terminated.
The project is ultimately going to be built. Opponents, meaning the astroturf campaigns backed by wealthy greedy farmers, need to grow up and deal with it.
