#CalVet guarantees 73-year-old U.S. Army sergeant a long, painful death

If that’s the case, according to the East Bay Times, the 73-year-old U.S. Army sergeant learned must move out of the Veterans Home of California at Yountville.

California’s Department of Veterans Affairs mandates the discharge of residents intending to consume medication to achieve a peaceful death and prohibits any employees, independent contractors or anyone else from participating in any activities under the End of Life Option Act while on the premises of one of its homes.
