According to the Daily News, the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent today to $3.577, its highest amount since Aug. 29, 2015.
The average price has risen 31 of the past 32 days, increasing 15.5 cents. In Orange County the average price rose three-tenths of a cent to $3.538, its highest amount since Aug. 28, 2015.
It’s the spring driving shake-down that the oil companies do to California motorists every year.
The tax-cut zombies who are howling about Governor Brown’s highway taxes are pretty much silent when it comes to their friends in the oil industry.
