#Sacramento columnist opines that #AfricanAmericans should stay in their homes

DCYH7NKd_400x400In yet another example of Sacramento’s brutal racism, a columnist for a weekly paper in Rancho Murieta, a gated community southeast of Sacramento opined that black men should stay in their houses after dark in the wake of the Stephon Clark shooting.

According to the Sacramento Bee, columnist Marcia Courson wrote in her most recent piece for The River Valley Times, “Police have to be careful not to overreact, and you black men might be better off at home after a certain hour.”

Once he was outed by the Bee, River Valley Times publisher Dave Herburger ran away from the piece.

It’s how Sacramento rolls.

  1. You know what she’s sayng.. The man killed by the Police had a lengthy criminal record.. Everyone knows what she’s talking about.. Nothing.. and I mean nothing good happens after midnight.. If you’re out at 3am prowling around, you are probably up to no good. Thats just common sense !! Maybe it’s advice we all could follow.
