Taxpayers in Lodi will get to pick up the tab for the brutal Police State execution of a mentally ill Gulf War veteran.
The Stockton Record reports that the family of Parminder Shergill will receive $2.65 million from the city.
Amazingly, after the huge payout, feckless City Attorney Janice D. Madich said officers acted professionally and consistent with their training whey they responded to a 911 call made by the Shergill family for help.
So just to be clear, Shergill’s family called for help, the Lodi police responded, and executed their son. Madich thinks that’s OK.
The San Joaquin County Coroner’s Office found that Shergill was shot 14 times.
Enjoy your Police State.
