#Apple’s #TimCook: Still a tool of his Chinese masters

Apple’s Tim Cook continues to do what his Chinese masters demand.

Apple CEO Tim Cook has slammed President Trump’s “zero tolerance” immigration policy. He says the policies are “heartbreaking” and that they need “to stop.”

That really pleased the editors of the San Francisco Chronicle. Their recent puff-piece gushed about Cook’s social conscience.

OK, he’s a Leftist who likes open borders. Got it.

Cook has also spoken out about the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, or DACA, which protects undocumented immigrants who arrived in the United States as minors, and the H-1B work visa program, which has seen changes under Trump that have discouraged some applicants.

H-1B visas help him import cheep labor to prop up his corporate empire. We get that too.

However Cook conveniently sidesteps the rising tensions between China and the U.S. over tariffs. Apple manufactures most of its iPhones in China. In order to make millions for himself and his shareholders, Cook does whatever his Chinese masters order him to do.

So he bashes President Trump and America. Got it.

In the most hypocritical move of all, Cook claims Apple has been an outspoken advocate for user privacy. Cook has slammed Facebook in particular as well as other companies that offer free, advertising-supported services.

Chinese President Xi Jinping

Cook says nothing about government censorship in China. There, the government censors everything it doesn’t like. Cook is OK with that, and in order to make millions, Apple goes along with anything government censors want.

The bottom line is this: Cook, and Apple, could care less about privacy, human rights, immigration reform, or any other topic that could stir one’s social conscience.

They only care about money. Cook and Apple, are willing to say or do anything to make more of it.  Hating President Trump and remaining obedient to Chinese President Xi Jinping are good for the bottom line.
